We stayed at the Anantara Dhigu in April and had a true dream holiday. The staff was amazing, always exceeding our expectations and extremely freindly, the food in all restaurants was superb and not costly considering the exclusive location and the scenery was simply heaven. I almost felt bad for how pampered I constantly felt! I loved our over water room and the beautiful colourful fish that I met every time I walked to the main part of the hotel. The salt water pool was a real treat and I will never forget the amazing Thai lunch we had while watching the waves break onto the reef. The food was incredible and the presentations were true works of art. I would like to thank the second Executive Chef who happend to be there at lunch and made us feel like it was a pleasure for them to have us there. It really felt like everyone was proud of working in this amazing resort! If we ever get the chance to visit the Maldives again in future we will certainly return!
4th visit

This was our 4th visit to the Maldives so this hotel had a lot to live up to. It did not disappoint. The quality of rooms was fantastic. There was a great choice of restaurants and high quality food - try the chocolate fondue and wage steaks. We strongly recommend the dine around and it does not have annoying restrictions. Staff were extremely friendly and the management were keen for feedback. The staff are amazing with children!!!! Main pool is great. We loved the speedboat excursion and water sports were very well run. The sea surrounding the resort is shallow and great for children. We loved the management drinks evening held in the sea - never seen anything so creative! What could be improved - very little -maybe slight better lighting in some of the restaurants and service was occasionally slower than we're used to but overall it was great and we all agreed we would return. Thank you to everyone who made our visit so special. Oh and the spa is fantastic!!!!!
Perfect honeymoon

This was a really beautiful relaxing honeymoon. I would highly reccommend staying in an over water bungalow. There are hardly any americans at the resort but everythin is in english. The food was wonderful, the daily breakfast was my favorite. The staff is so kind and helpful. All the little touches are so thoughtful. We did a day trip into mali, it was a good thing to do to break up the monotony. Alcohol is expensive! I would love to go back at the drop of a hat!
