Itinerary
Day One:
Travel from you home/hotel in Gauteng via Mpumalanga to the historic town of Pilgrim’s Rest. Drive along the picturesque Panorama Route to God’s Window, the Blyde River Canyon and the awesome Three Rondawels. At Tremisana Game Lodge, unwind at the bar or enjoy a refreshing dip in our sparkling pool. After a traditional dinner around a crackling fire, board the open Landcruiser for an exciting spotlit Night Drive, your first experience of the varied fauna and flora of Africa.
Day Two:
Today we enjoy a full day of game-viewing and birdwatching in Kruger from our open Gameviewer. The custom-built Gameviewer guarantees a total wildlife experience – excellent sight, sound and scent opportunities. Your elevated vantage point allows for brilliant photographic opportunities. After a picnic breakfast, we explore the open plains around Satara, renowned for large herds of giraffe, zebra and various antelope that attract the highest concentration of lions in Africa.
Day Three:
Enjoy an early morning bush walk with our armed ranger. If you are lucky, you may come across big game on foot – a truly exhilarating experience. After a hearty breakfast, there is an opportunity to purchase some memorabilia from our shop and take photos of the luxuriant lush gardens at Tremisana. We return to Gauteng in the late afternoon. Airport dropoff by arrangement.
