Itinerary
Day One:
Pick up from your guesthouse/hostel in Gauteng or Johannesburg Airport and travel via the Highveld grasslands towards Pilgrim’s Rest. View the scenic splendours of the Panorama Route including God’s Window and the Three Rondawels. At Marc’s Camp have a dip in our pool or unwind at the bar. After a traditional dinner in the Boma, an armed ranger will conduct a night walk, using a powerful spotlight to locate animals. Overnight in your romantic treehouse, with the sounds of the African night to lull you to sleep.
Day Two:
Awake to the chorus of birdsong. Early departure for the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park. Enjoy a “bush breakfast” at a picnic spot. From the open gameviewer, you are afforded a superior wildlife excursion – a total sight, sound and scent experience from an elevated vantage point for brilliant photography. Spend the entire day game viewing and bird watching in the company of an experienced and knowledgeable guide.
Day Three:
An armed ranger will accompany you on a guided sunrise bushwalk. He will identify spoor and droppings and hopefully lead you on foot close enough to photograph some big game. After a hearty breakfast, drive to Gauteng, arriving around 16h00. Airport drop off by arrangement.
