Allow yourself to be swept away via Mpumalanga, the Kruger Park and onward to the idyllic coastal paradise of the Barra Peninsula, Inhambane in Mozambique. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a culture born out of African roots, Portuguese conquest and Arabian trade. This tour involves a busy tour schedule, but includes sufficient time to rest and absorb the beauty of Mozambique. It includes a scenic trip via the Mpumalanga highlands and sleeping over in Hazywiew. We travel through Kruger Park into Mozambique to Xai Xai and on our third day onward to our lodge on the Barra Reef. After three further days of sunshine, warm seas and leisure, we return to sleep over at Maputo. On our final day we return to Gauteng.

25 DEGREEZ - Discovering Africa Itinerary
DAY 1:
We depart 06:00 from Johannesburg / Pretoria on the N4 via Witbank and Middelburg. Travelling eastward past Dullstroom and Belfast we finally turn off the N4 just before Nelspruit onto the R539 to visit the Sudwala caves. From the caves we continue to Sabie, Pilgrims Rest and then to Gods Window. Finally we stop off at Hazyview for our 1st overnight.
DAY 2:
Departing early from Hazyview, we enter the Kruger Park at the Paul Kruger gate and follow a leisurely route southward to the Malelane gate where we exit the park. From there we continue to the border where we cross into Mozambique, travelling eastward to Maputo and then further northwards to Xai Xai for our 2nd overnight.
DAY 3:
We depart for Inhambane travelling north on the EN1, which is relatively bad for the first 100 km, then leisurely continue on newly built roads. Along the way we take in the spectacular scenery (inland lakes, palm forests). We pass through a number of small towns and finally turn off the EN1 at Lindela towards Inhambane. Finally we reach the town of Inhambane, with a short distance (25km) to our destination on the Barra Reef for our 4th, 5th and 6th overnight.
DAYS 4 - 6:
The following three days are filled with swimming, relaxing, long walks on the beach, taking in the fabulous scenery. Sightseeing tours will include a visit to the local market, museum and historical buildings, also a dhow trip (all included in the package).
DAY 7:
We depart 06:00 for Maputo via Xai Xai frequently stopping to take in the beautiful view. Reaching Maputo we take a tour of the city, finally booking into our 6th overnight.
DAY 8:
An early departure takes us westward to the border and along the N4 via Nelspruit, Machadadorp, Middelburg and Witbank to Johannesburg / Pretoria to end a memorable tour.

Transport will be in a 14 to 30 seater luxury bus depending on the number of bookings.
